The Everest Base Camp (EBC) trip takes you into the heart of Nepal’s Khumbu region, with breathtaking vistas of the world’s tallest peaks, including Mount Everest (8,848 meters). The voyage begins with a picturesque flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small mountain airfield located above a steep hillside. From Lukla, you’ll travel through scenic Sherpa villages, lush forests, high-altitude valleys, and difficult terrain before arriving at Everest Base Camp.

After your arrival in Kathmandu, we will conduct an in person briefing. Day to Day briefing will also be done during the tour.

Lukla (2,860m / 9,383ft): The starting point of the trek, Lukla is a small mountain town with a unique runway perched on a steep hillside. Trekkers typically fly from Kathmandu to Lukla to begin their journey.

Phakding (2,610m / 8,563ft): After landing in Lukla, the trekking route descends to Phakding, a scenic village situated along the Dudh Koshi River. It serves as the first overnight stop for trekkers on their way to Everest Base Camp.

Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft): Known as the gateway to the Everest region, Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town nestled in a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks. It’s a bustling hub with markets, shops, lodges, and stunning views of Everest and neighboring peaks.

Tengboche (3,867m / 12,687ft): Home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, this picturesque village offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The monastery is the largest in the Khumbu region and a significant cultural and religious site for Sherpas.

Dingboche (4,410m / 14,469ft): Located in the Imja Valley, Dingboche is a popular acclimatization stop along the trek. It offers breathtaking views of Taboche and Cholatse peaks and serves as a gateway to Island Peak and other climbing destinations.

Lobuche (4,910m / 16,109ft): As trekkers approach Everest Base Camp, they pass through Lobuche, a small settlement situated at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. The views of Nuptse and other peaks from here are stunning.

Gorak Shep (5,164m / 16,942ft): The last village before Everest Base Camp, Gorak Shep is a desolate outpost nestled among rocky moraines. Trekkers typically spend a night here before making the final push to base camp.

Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft): The ultimate destination of the trek, Everest Base Camp is situated on the Khumbu Glacier beneath the towering peak of Mount Everest. Trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding Himalayan giants.

Kala Patthar (5,545m / 18,192ft): Although not a village, Kala Patthar is a popular viewpoint located above Gorak Shep. Trekkers ascend Kala Patthar early in the morning to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mount Everest and neighboring peaks.

Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu arrival (1300m)

Your Arrival Time: Arrive at Kathmandu airport. Our guest relation officer will escort you from Kathmandu airport and drive you to the hotel. Check in at Hotel. Our GRO will brief you about the tour.

Overnight: Kathmandu

Day 2Full day Kathmandu Sightseeing (6 hrs). Overnight at Kathmandu

After Breakfast: After breakfast Visit Hindus holiest temple Pashupatinath. Head towards Boudhanath and visit Boudhanath.

After Lunch: Drive to Kathmandu durbar square. Explore the historic square, visit Kumari Bahal, and admire the architecture of ancient temples.

In the evening: Drive to Nagarkot (40kms/1 hrs) and Check in at the Hotel. As the sun sets behind the Himalayan peaks, take a seat back, unwind, and take in the amazing view.

Overnight: Nagarkot

Day 3Drive to Pokhara. (6 hrs)

After Breakfast: Drive to Pokhara (200kms /6 Hrs). On the way visit Manakamana temple. Cable car charge will be an extra INR 550 per person and it is directly payable at Ticket counter. Take a cable car ride to Manakamana temple. On clear days, the cable car trip offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, terraced fields, and the Trishuli River.

Overnight: Pokhara

Day 4Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing. Overnight at Pokhara

Early morning drive to Sarangkot to view the sunrise. Sarangkot, a well-liked location for sunrise and sunset views, has expansive vistas of the Fishtail and Annapurna mountain ranges. Drive back to the hotel.

After Breakfast: Pokhara Sightseeing. (Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and International Mountain Museum.

Afternoon: At Phewa Lake on your own, take a boat trip, and unwind for the remainder of the day.

Overnight: Pokhara.

Day 5Drive to Chitwan. Overnight in Chitwan

Evening: Travel to Rapti River Bank for Sunset View.

Day 6Jungle Safari Activities (Full Day). Overnight in Chitwan

After Breakfast: You’re going to go on an elephant-back safari, which involves riding an elephant through the Chitwan National Park’s jungle. This is a simple way to observe birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Depending on the season and your luck, you may be able to witness a variety of species, including deer, leopards, bengal tigers, and one-horned rhinos.

After Lunch: Canoe ride in Rapti River- A fun way to visit Chitwan National Park and see the park’s wildlife and various water species is to take a canoe ride on the Rapti River. Views of Marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodiles sunbathing on the Rapti River’s banks are available to visitors.

Afternoon: Jungle walk, Bird watching, Visit Elephant Breeding Center

Evening : Tharu Cultural Dance

Day 7Drive from Chitwan to Nagarkot. Overnight in Nagarkot

After Breakfast: Drive to Nagarkot (7-8 hrs) and Check in at the Hotel. As the sun sets behind the Himalayan peaks, take a seat back, unwind, and take in the amazing view.

Overnight: Nagarkot

Day 8Drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur.

Early morning view of sunrise with beautiful Himalayan ranges.

After Breakfast: Drive to Bhaktapur for Bhaktapur Sightseeing. Exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square offers an enlightening look into Nepal’s rich cultural and architectural legacy.

Drive back to Kathmandu and check in at Hotel. Free in the evening.

Overnight: Kathmandu.

Day 9Fly back

Your Departure Time: We will drive you to Kathmandu airport for your flight back home. You will be returning back with unforgettable memories and experiences.

There are many currency exchange centers in Nepal where you can exchange dollars into Local Nepalese currency and utilize it while you are here in Nepal.

Yes you can take Kathmandu Pokhara Kathmandu flight to save time however you have to pay a difference of rate between vehicle and flight.
